SHIPPING AND RETURNS
Delivering the Goods and Delivery Charges

Delivery Charges: We use Royal Mail Special Delivery for postage, charging £7.95 for UK delivery and £10.50 for international signed-for deliveries.

Delivery Timeline: We aim to deliver within 30 days of order acceptance. If delays occur due to circumstances beyond our control, we will notify you and take steps to minimize the impact. If a significant delay arises, you may contact us to cancel the order and receive a refund for any undelivered goods.

Delivery Charges on Multiple Items: Only one delivery charge applies per order, regardless of the quantity of goods. Multiple addresses require separate orders and charges.
Refund Policy
General Policy
At Bijou Jewellers, we do not offer refunds. Instead, we provide exchanges or credit notes for items returned within 14 days of purchase.
Proof of Purchase
To qualify for an exchange or credit note, you must provide the original receipt or valid proof of purchase. Exchanges or credit notes cannot be processed without appropriate proof of purchase.
Condition of Items
To be eligible for an exchange or credit note, items must be:

Returned in their original packaging
Exclusions
The following items are excluded from our exchange and credit note policy:

Exceptional Circumstances
In exceptional circumstances, we may consider requests for refunds or late exchanges on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us directly to discuss any specific situations that may warrant such consideration.
For faulty items, please notify us within 48 hours of receipt to initiate a return. Items should be sent to:

You are responsible for items until they reach us. We recommend using a secure delivery service requiring a signature.
Defective and Damaged Items
All parcels must be opened in the presence of the courier upon receipt to verify that the contents are undamaged. Failure to do so may affect our ability to claim for damages. If you receive an item that is defective, damaged, or not what you ordered, please contact us within 48 hours. We will arrange for a replacement once the faulty item is returned and has been received.
Processing Your Refund
Once we receive the returned items, we will refund the cost of the goods minus delivery charges within 48 hours. Your credit card company may take 4-7 working days to process the refund.
Repair and Resizing
Our Repairs and Resizing service is subject to the following conditions:

We may decline a repair/resizing if it is more complex than anticipated.

We reserve the right to return an item without repair at our discretion.

Work will commence only after you accept a revised quotation, if applicable.

We will use materials that maintain the integrity of the original item.

All repairs are guaranteed for 6 months unless otherwise specified

We offer no guarantee on fine chain repairs

All waste materials become the property of Bijou Jewellers.
In the event of unforeseen circumstances causing delays, we will inform you and provide a new completion date. Bijou Jewellers reserves the right to use an independent body for arbitration in disputes.
